News Round-Up


Former Bulls loanee Jake Jervis is one of nine players released by Portsmouth. The former Birmingham trainee, 22, scored four times in 17 games after arriving at Fratton Park from Turkish football. Luton have released a total of six players and transfer listed two more. Alfreton loanee Lathaniel Rowe-Turner and striker Jon Shaw are amongst the six departures, while winger Dave Martin, a former Bulls target, and midfielder Solomon Taiwo have been transfer listed.

Former Bulls loanee Ross Dyer is one of ten to be released by Mansfield. The former Forest Green striker netted three times in five Conference games for the Bulls, but started only seven League games after his return to Field Mill. Ex-Bull Joe Colbeck is one of eight players released by Grimsby. The winger started only 19 times in his second season at Blundell Park. Also leaving is striker Andy Cook and defender Clayton McDonald, brother of the Bulls' Rod.

Braintree have increased matchday admission prices by £1 for the coming season. Adult terrace admission will vary between £15 and £17 depending on the category of match, with seats £1 more. Wayne Brown has been offered a two year coaching contract at Oxford. He was told earlier in the week he would not be offered a playing contract by the U's.
