Bulls chairman David Keyte has told the Hereford Times that he expects a deal for the club to be concluded within the next 10 days.
Without going into any details, the paper reports that one party was conducting due diligence at the club on Tuesday.
Keyte also confirms weekend rumours that the club have offered a 3 year deal to Jarrod Bowen, while he says that "five or six of our current players" will be offered terms before the May 10th deadline.
However, with a transfer embargo apparently still in force at the club for non-payment of debts, it is unclear how the club is able to hand out new deals. Conference rules state, in Appendix H:
6. An Embargoed Club shall not be permitted to improve the existing terms of any its registered players.
Any offers would, therefore, likely hinge on the successful completion of any deal for the club.
