Bowen Has Offers From Some Very Big Clubs Says Beadle

Hereford United's Pete Beadle has said that Jarrod Bowen has offers from some big clubs.

"I think he's in the process of deciding where he wants to be," Beadle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's a tough decision for him because he's a Hereford boy but he's also got to think of his development.

"He's only 17 and has a long way to go yet but he has got offers on the table from some very big clubs, premier league and championship clubs.

"I don't know what the future holds for him."

Several other youth team players have had offers to move away. Ben Miller and Jamie Gregory are currently with West Brom's youth set-up and keeper Owen Evans is off to Wigan.

"We spoke after the game on Wednesday and just said that although individually they've got these clubs, they couldn't have done it without the players around them this year, with the rest of the youth team squad around them.

"Second years are a little bit different. Two have signed for the club, six others are waiting for a decision.

"They are having to wait a bit longer because the club doesn't know who the manager is going to be next season.

"They'll go to the exit trials for players who haven't been offered anything yet. They'll try and win themselves contracts elsewhere if they don't get them here.

"One thing is for sure, they'll all play at a very good standard of football next year because there are some very talented young men in that group."
