Superman: Bulls Can Learn From Chester Journey

Former Bulls and Chester keeper Wayne Brown has told the Chester Leader that he is backing Chester to stay up. He told the paper:

"It’s strange to see two of my former clubs facing a scrap to stay safe at the bottom of the Conference league table.

“Hereford have been on a massive slide both on and off the field since I left while I’ve been really proud to see Chester achieve so much success as a fan-owned club after Chester City were liquidated.

“I don’t want anyone to suffer the heartache and anguish that every Chester fan had to experience four years ago, but I think Hereford need to learn a few things from Chester’s journey during the last three years.

“Life in the Conference was always going to be tough for Chester after managing to win so many promotions because they are facing full time clubs with big budgets.

“But what Chester has achieved in the last few years has been amazing and I’ve been really proud to see the club progressing.

“For that reason I would like to see Chester consolidate by staying up and giving themselves more of a chance to build on their success."
