Hereford United chairman David Keyte spoke briefly to Bulls News after this afternoon's game at Aldershot.
BN suggested it was, by far, the best day of the season.
"Absolutely, we haven't had many have we!" said Keyte.
"Very emotional, fantastic support, great effort. I understand there are a few more locked out for some reason.
"Fantastic job by Pete Beadle and Steve Jenkins to pick that group of players up.
"This has given us a platform to push on.
"We will not be in this position next year."
