"This Lot" Comment Draws Fans Ire

Martin Foyle's post match comments yesterday have raised the hackles of many supporters.

Answering a question about a negative atmosphere at Edgar Street, Foyle referred to the supporters as 'this lot' and suggested the side will play better on the road.

Many of the comments about the negativity have put the blame for it on Foyle's tactics, rather than individual player performances. One fan wrote on Bulls Banter:

'I don't blame the players, I blame the man in charge of them. Too many fans over the season have swallowed the excuse that you'll struggle to find players at this level that'll play football - Hyde rammed those words right back down Foyle's throat. Foyle has no interest in playing football regardless of the players he has or the pitches we play on.'

Another wrote:

'Foyle shows more respect for the opposition than the paying customer.'

A chorus of boos rang out at the end of the game for the performance, and result, but Man of the Match Daniel Lloyd-Weston and the remaining straggle of players were applauded by those left in the main stand as they trudged off.

The fans remain in support of the players, but are rapidly losing confidence in the manager and his tactics.
