Results Round-Up


The Bulls remain five points clear of the bottom four after yesterday's results. Aldershot came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Nuneaton, while Chester lost 1-0 at home to Alfreton to see their gap to the bottom four cut to two points. Southport beat Macclesfield 4-1 to move above Chester and within two points of the Bulls. Dartford drew 1-1 at Cambridge to be five points short of safety, while Tamworth need to make up seven points after their 2-1 home loss to Forest Green.

At the top, Luton face Woking on Monday night on BT Sport with a 14 point lead. Nuneaton are fourth with Halifax fifth following their 1-0 win at Welling. The Shaymen are one of four sides on 57 points with three more teams within three points. Grimsby are sixth after beating Wrexham 3-1 to further dent Billy Barr's hopes of the manager's job on a permanent basis. Kidderminster beat Barnet, who had keeper Graham Stack sent off, 1-0 to move back into contention. Salisbury and Gateshead played out a goalless draw to help neither side's cause.

At the foot of League Two, Torquay (33pts) went down 1-0 at Cheltenham, Northampton (38pts) drew 1-1 at home to Mansfield, and Exeter (40pts) face Newport this afternoon.
