Herefordshire MP Jesse Norman has called on the PFA to help the club's players.
The union has so far refused to help with the players unpaid for at least two months. Rob Purdie told Monday's meeting that the PFA had helped him during Darlington's problems with 40% of their wages, but it appeared that they didn't care about players once they dropped out of the Football League.
It was well noted at the meeting that a union should represent all of it's members, especially a union whose Chief Executive, Gordon Taylor, pockets in excess of £1million in salary each year and has multi-million pound artworks adorning his office walls.
Update: Captain Luke Graham, the appointed PFA rep amongst the players, is now in touch with the PFA, who are progressing the situation.
