Hurst: Bulls Happy With A Point

Grimsby boss Paul Hurst says the Bulls were not interested in winning last night's match.

He told the local press after the game his side were the only ones interested in three points: "Of course we wanted to win the game. Did we do enough to win it? I think we had enough chances.

"We did speak about not allowing a mistake or a refereeing decision influence the outcome of the game and as long as we only score the one goal, we leave ourselves open to that.

"I'm disappointed that we didn't pick up the three points but, ultimately, we've created enough chances. Alex (Rodman) has hit the post, Andi Thanoj has had a couple of chances and balls have flown across the box.

"We had two late headers just over the bar – there was only one team looking to win the game and that's no criticism of Hereford.

"If you'd have offered them a point before the game, I'm sure they'd have bitten your hand off."
