Kidderminster chairman Mark Serrell has quit the club after fans ire rose sharply over the decision to replace Steve Burr with Andy Thorn.
Message boards and BBC Hereford and Worcester's coverage of their draw with Braintree today have been plastered with fans calling on Serrell to go with many irate at the performances and tactics of new boss Andy Thorn.
Since Thorn's arrival Harriers have won just one of six Conference games, that being his first in charge, with them slipping down the table to tenth and six points shy of the play-offs.
Thorn was appointed with a mission to get the side promoted this season, something Serrell believed was no longer possible under Steve Burr, but fans have criticised his signings and tactics - claiming that during their home match today they played with just one striker.
Serrell's wife Ruth, also a club Director, has also stood down with a statement with a statement noting 'during the past few weeks it has become apparent that supporters have lost faith in my leadership'.
