One of the ideals of chairman David Keyte when he purchased his shareholding in Hereford United was to try and forge closer ties with the Herefordshire community.

And within a couple of weeks Yeomans, the Hereford based coach company which had transported teams all over the country responded to the ideal by transforming one of their coaches.
However on the way to Chesterfield on August 21st 2010, some four games into Ketye's first season, the coach broke down on the M5.
The Bulls lost that game 4-0 and manager Simon Davey was not pleased.
Reportedly he persuaded Keyte to drop Yeomans and use Astons, who ferry the Worcester Warriors around, instead.
It's not known what the cost of 'painting' the Yeomans coach was, but the investment was never re-couped.
Last Thursday Hereford United played at Forest Green and according to Martin Foyle there had been problems with the travel arrangments 'being let down again'.
Foyle didn't mention Astons by name.
However an Astons coach taking the Bulls to Southend for the first game of the 2011/12 season broke down en route.

The Warriors Had A Lucky Escape |
And recently one of Astons' coaches burnt out on the M5. It was taking the Warriors to an away game at the time.
Meanwhile the youth team have used Yeomans to take them to away ties in the FA Youth Cup recently.
Perhaps, if terms can be agreed, Yeomans should be offered the task of transporting the first team again. They are a local company, not a French concern.
Update 7pm: Hereford United chairman David Keyte has tweeted that ' if Yeomans had an equipped coach we would gladly be using them'
Which begs the question - if Yeomans were good enough for Graham Turner when he was in charge, what has changed?.
