Luton have signed Crystal Palace youngster Ryan Inniss on an initial months loan. The 18 year old 6ft 5in centre back comes in with loan defenders Joe Davis and Alfie Mawson returning to Port Vale and Brentford respectively. England u18 man Inniss had a month at Cheltenham earlier in the season.
Port Vale chairman Norman Smurthwaite has told supporters the club would not exist without his financial support. He told fans at a Supporters Club meeting last night that the club would be bust within three weeks due to the size of it's wage bill. Smurthwaite also told fans the club wasn't big enough for Championship football, after earlier saying he didn't want the club to get promoted.
Alfreton have announced they will cut prices for younger fans for games in February after a successful trial of discounted admission over Christmas. Braintree have signed Watford forward Bernard Mensah on loan for an initial month. The 19 year old signed his first pro deal in the summer and debuted for the Hornets as a sub in November.
