News Round-Up

Lincoln have posted a £102,000 loss for last season, their first without a parachute payment from the Football League. Chairman Bob Dorrian told supporters in his notes on their accounts that they had cut wages at the club from £1.8m in 2011 to £937k in the latest figures following relegation. They lost £130,000 the previous season.

Grimsby have signed York defender Jamal Fyfield after he was released by the League Two side. The 24 year old had been with the Minstermen since the summer of 2010, but had only made one League start this season. Nuneaton keeper Kelle Roos has had trials with Liverpool, Bolton, and Ipswich with the Boro looking to dispose of players.

Aldershot striker Brett Williams has been linked with a string of Football League clubs by the agent-friendly Sky Sports. The 26 year old has netted 16 times in 25 Conference games this term.
