This from the Trust:
On Thursday, Trust Chairman Chris Williams took a phone call from his Kidderminster Trust (KHIST) counterpart Geoff Coles regarding the club’s current financial predicament.
Geoff told Chris that, at their own committee meeting on Wednesday, the KHIST board had discussed the Bulls’ state and agreed to offer help to HUST. The two Trusts built good bridges through the two Supporters Team games that had happened over the Christmas period and, having had their own club close to collapse in 2010, KHIST were keen to assist where they could.
As a result of discussions, KHIST will hold a bucket collection in aid of the Bulls on behalf of HUST at one of their forthcoming home matches. Chris has also invited the KHIST board to Edgar Street for a presentation of the funds. Chris added:
“Football on the whole doesn’t get a very good press so when something like this happens and rivals stand alongside you, it’s something to shout about and I hope Bulls fans feel as good about this as I did when I got the call. Well done and many thanks to KHIST!
“I still hope we beat ‘em in the rearranged match on 28th January though!”
