Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has confirmed that a transfer embargo has been placed on the club after he revealed that Micah Evans was returning to Burnley.
That's three players who have left Edgar Street in a week.
Firstly Damon Lathrope returned to Torquay, then Eric Odhiambo was released.
"Things are testing us again," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester after last night's game at the New Lawn.
"With an embargo in place, I can't do anything.
"We managed to scrounge him ( Evans) for one more game as we were a bit depleted.
"And we will miss Damon too.
"He gave us quality on the ball. He got us clicking.
"As for Eric, he's gone to Ireland as we couldn't offer him anything.
"But the players are working hard for me and we're here
for the long run in the hope that this club can get back on its feet
again.
"The fans are certainly behind us. They know the plight that we're in. The realise how hard this job is.
"Everybody's doing more than they should be doing. But,
unfortunately, we haven't got any money.
"And, until someone comes in
with some sort of rescue package that can help us survive, we are what we
are."
As for the game itself Foyle felf it was a hard earned point.
"We had to weather the storm in the first fifteen minutes.
"I thought we were a little bit slow out of the blocks but I put that down to travel arrangements, being let down again.
"But we got into the game and started to believe in ourselves.
"Second half we came out and we looked like scoring in the last twenty, twenty five minutes."
