Towards the end of Hereford United chairman David Keyte's interview yesterday he mentioned that as players contracts finish at the end of the season there would be less pressure on the budget from during May and June.
"We've now flushed through all the original problems we had about Football League contracts which are 52 weeks of the year," Keyte told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"All our players will cease being paid at the end of April, first week of May.
"So May and June there will be no player wages to find.
"That gives us a chance.
"The social club is bringing in £6, 7, £8000 a week and can fund the rest of the club.
"But the playing budget is nigh on impossible to meet 1500 gates."
