News Round-Up

The National Crime Agency say that the two charged players committed their offences in November this year. Their statement on the charges say that both Whitehawk players committed offences in the Manchester area and elsewhere between the 1st and 26th of November. The club say both players 'deny everything' but the pair have been suspended until further notice. Update - the pair have been sacked by the club.

Cambridge have loaned young keeper Will Norris to Royston Town until January. The 20 year old made the move to the U's from Royston in the summer, and had acted as the club's no.2 until Jason Brown's signing. Woking have agreed extensions for loan pair Charles Banya and Jack Marriott. Fulham's Banya and Ipswich's Marriott have been part of the Cards side that has won three of their last four games.

Two players involved in the Southern Stars match fixing case have pleaded guilty and been fined for their actions after agreeing to testify against their fellow defendants. Keeper Joe Wooley admitted three charges and was fined $1200. Defender Reiss Noel admitted four charges and was fined $2000 with both players now due to testify against two further players.

FIFA have extended the emergency loan window system into next season. The window, used in leagues below the Premier League, was due to end this summer with FIFA looking to enforce financial rules. The ending of the system would have left teams like the Bulls needing to sign more players in the summer with no loans available until the January window.

Brentford have been given planning permission to build a new 20,000 capacity stadium on a site originally identified in 2002. The ground will be surrounded by 910 flats and houses with the club planning to move in 2016. Chester have released defender Lee Pugh and let loanee Alex Titchiner return to parent club Fleetwood. Pugh needs hernia surgery and would not play again before his contract expired in January, while Titchiner is also struggling with injury.
