Foyle Makes A Stand

Martin Foyle has spoken to Bulls Player about the reasons for him not speaking to the press after yesterday's game.

He told Jamie Griffiths: "I just feel it's important for the club. There's a lot of negative press out there at the moment.

"I'm fed up of myself and the chairman getting misquoted all the time and making headlines for the wrong reasons to add to that negativity that, at the moment, a lot of people around the club are subjecting us to."

"I think people have got to realise that the club is in a very, very sticky position. There's a lot of people here working a lot of hours, a lot of people have lost their jobs, a lot of people have lost hours and they're all working for the same objective - to make the club better.

"I find it a little bit frustrating that people are sticking the knife in from all angles. Whatever the chairman does, whatever the board does, nothing seems to be right and everyone seems to have a dim view of everything.

"Someone's got to make a stand on behalf of Hereford United Football Club."
