Hyde are still waiting for their first win of the season after squandering a two goal lead at Woking to lose 3-2. Aldershot's record is now one win in 11 games after going down 4-0 for the second game running, this time at Halifax. Dartford conceded three goals in five minutes in losing 3-1 at Macclesfield to be 22nd, with Chester holding late arrivals Luton to a 1-1 draw to occupy the final bottom four spot. Woking's win pulls them out of the drop zone and also above Tamworth, who lost 2-0 at home to Grimsby.
At the top, Kidderminster closed the gap to evening kick off Cambridge with a 3-1 win over Wrexham. The game was marred by a refereeing blunder after a hole in the net initially denied the Dragons their goal before the fourth official intervened. Luton are third after their draw, with Grimsby fourth and Halifax fifth. Alfreton are sixth after beating Braintree 3-1, ahead of Salisbury after they lost 3-2 at Gateshead. Forest Green beat Lincoln 4-1 to keep their 100% record under the new manager, while Nuneaton won 2-1 at Welling to move up to 8th.
