News Round-Up

Worcester are into the FA Trophy First Round after beating Ramsbottom United 3-0 in their game at Aggborough yesterday. Forward Ethan Moore netted all three goals. Wrexham boss Andy Morrell says that referee Amy Fearn got at least four decisions wrong in their loss to Kidderminster, excluding the 'ghost goal' that saw a five minute delay to the game when the ball went through a hole in the net. Morrell is considering an appeal against the red card handed to striker Andy Bishop.

Former Aldershot keeper Nikki Bull says he offered to manage the team for free last season before Andy Scott's appointment as boss. Bull, who left Wycombe a year ago to take time away from the game, says that he was asked by an investor friend to examine the viability of the club as it struggled under Dean Holdsworth, blaming the former manager for his style of play 'playing a 9-0-1 formation' and wasting of the playing budget, adding "the club only seem to want to know the fans when they go to them cap in hand looking for them to bail them out and it not surprising that many have now had enough."

Nuneaton boss Kevin Wilkin says he accepted fan criticism after the Boro ended a 10 game winless run on Saturday, but that fans have to acknowledge that they are trying to compete in what is effectively a full-time league.
