Southport will be without experienced striker Nathan Ellington when they entertain the Bulls on Saturday.
The 32 year old cost both Watford and West Brom transfer fees in excess of £3million, but joined the Sandgrounders a month ago after failing to find a club higher up. He had made three starts for his new club, but limped off after just half an hour of Saturday's loss to Leyton Orient and missed last night's loss at home to Lincoln.
The loss to Lincoln, described by the own official site match report as 'uninspiring' and 'a jaded display', came after they had become the first team to beat Cambridge this season.
All but one of their wins this season have come at home, with only Hyde beaten on the road, and the Cambridge win is their only win in seven games in the Conference.
