| David Keyte At Burton This Afternoon |
Hereford United are out of the FA Cup and with just one Conference home game left this month, questions are being asked whether there will be enough money in the kitty to pay the staff at the end of the month.
Last month although the players didn't have to wait too long for their money, staff were not so lucky.
It's understood most of them received some money at the end of last month and a further amount a few days ago. The remainder is expected to be paid after the Chester game which is on Tuesday evening.
How players and staff will be paid at the end of this month will no doubt be worrying chairman David Keyte and the rest of the board.
Keyte has already said on several occassions that he is not prepared to put any more money into the club. Two other directors are thought to have helped out recently but there will be limits to what they can put in.
The only hope appears to be using some of the 'share issue money' to keep the club afloat unless someone comes on board with at least £50K.
He or she would be welcomed with open arms.
The sad truth is that Hereford United can not continue without an injection of capital.
Most weeks recently have been difficult for the board. This coming week could be even more so.
