Chester Condemn Flare Fans

Chester City have condemned those 'supporters' who let off flares in the away end at Edgar Street last night.

"We are rightly proud of the majority of our fans.

"Sadly the behaviour of a small number of individuals at last night's game at Hereford seriously threatens to undermine all that we stand for as a community based family club."

The referee noted the flares in his report to the FA according to Chester.

"Chester FC will work with the police to deal with any individuals that are responsible for any behaviour which could bring our club into disrepute."
