Beadle Pleased With Youth Win


Hereford United Youth Team manager Peter Beadle was delighted with his squad's 1-0 win at Chesterfield last night despite the fact that the only goal of the game came in added time.

However he added a note of caution when speaking to the squad after the final whistle.

"It wasn't your best display but a great win," he said.

Assistant Steve Jenkins said that they would be looking forward to the tie at Bournemouth in the third round. The Bulls have already defeated them in the Youth League.

"And it won't be as cold there!" he quipped.

Around 40 supporters made the trip to Chesterfield with nine taking advantage of a seat on the team bus.
