Stack Still Searching For Clean Sheets

Barnet keeper Graham Stack is still looking for more clean sheets after a frustrating time in recent weeks.

The former Arsenal stopper, 32, told the press he wanted to set a Conference record for clean sheets after earning three in the Bees' first five games this term. However, since those comments, Stack has collected only one more with the Bees winning only two of ten games. He told the Barnet Times:

“I have found the lack of clean sheets very frustrating because shots seem to be flying into the top corner. But I have got to remain composed and get on with things.

“You start at the beginning of the campaign with a number of clean sheets you want to keep. But we are way off that at the minute which is frustrating for me.”

“We’ve been inconsistent. We have played some fantastic football at times and look a very threatening and hard to beat side. The flip side of that is we haven’t done it for enough games or for 90 minutes. We need to try and find a level of consistency.”

The inconsistent Bees will be without in-demand striker Jake Hyde, Mr Edgar Davids, and midfielder Curtis Weston for the trip to Edgar Street. Their top scorer is defender Keanu Marsh-Brown, with the former Fulham trainee netting seven times this season.
