Belatedly it has been confirmed that Mike Roberts was second largest shareholder in Hereford United until the new share issue was launched. The former director from the Peter Hill era purchased 4997 shares from Tim Russon. He already had 100 shares which were purchased some years ago.
It's understood Roberts paid circa £50,000 for Russon's holding. However those shares are now worth just £1,249.25p
According to the details about the offer of 'new shares', should Roberts wish to maximise his 4997 shareholding by purchasing 'new' shares, he would have to find some £352,288.50p.
Meanwhile director Nick Nenadich is to travel to London next Monday to speak to potential investors in the club.
