News Round-Up

Ahead of the weekend, Nuneaton signed winger Louis Briscoe on loan from Mansfield. The 25 year old has played just twice for the Stags since their return to the Football League. The Boro have lost the services of Andy Brown after he was diagnosed with a detached retina. Last season's top scorer woke up with vision problems yesterday morning, and will require surgery.

Cambridge have allowed defender Kevin Roberts to join Conf North side Brackley for a months loan. The 26 year old former Chester man has made only one senior appearance for the U's this season after being a regular for the last three years. Forest Green have extended the loan of midfielder George Pilkington from Mansfield for a third and final month. The 31 year old has already spent two months with the club.

Salisbury have signed Swindon youngster Miles Storey on loan. The former England u19 man is in his second season as a professional, making two starts and four sub appearances for the League One side this term. Barnet have signed Kieran Cadogan on a short term deal. The winger was released by Aldershot in August by mutual consent.

Hinckley United have been wound up at the High Court this morning. In a bizarre twist to their ongoing saga, the club asked to be wound up with the applicants, the pension fund of the former chairman, asking for a further delay to resolve matters. Their record in the Southern League will now be expunged, with fans expected to reform for the start of next season.

Luton boss John Still says they will involve more fans in their post-match on-pitch talk after inviting a fan into Saturday's huddle. The fan had a public spat with captain Ronnie Henry at their previous home match, leading to the fan meeting Still and the squad, and then joining the huddle after their comeback win over Halifax. Still says the move has improved fan relations and will continue the interaction.
