Graham Happy With Unbeaten Run

Bulls captain Luke Graham has been pleased with recent results.

The central defender has formed a solid partnership with Rod McDonald at the heart of defence, and the Bulls travel to Cambridge on the back of three games without defeat - and only one goal conceded.

“It has been a fantastic week from a points total point of view" Graham told the Hereford Times;

“At this stage, you never know where teams are going to finish up but Halifax have been on a good run, Lincoln had a good start to the season and Luton have done well.

“So, on paper, they were three tough games and a lot of people probably weren’t expecting us to get a lot of points. We’ll take five but it could have been more.”

Michael Rankine has also spoken to the paper, praising Graham and the defence: “The defence has been looking very solid. Luke Graham is a very experienced player and reads the game really well.

“A lot of the younger boys are looking at him and will take a leaf out of his book. Luke has been brilliant for us and is a good leader – he’s a very good captain so what we have to do now is to keep on being solid.”

Rankine also spoke about his role in the team: “The lads think that I can bring something to the team and if that means hold-up play then I will try to be the hold-up player.

“Fingers crossed, when I’m fit, I can bring something to the team and take us up the table. I’m still the joint top goalscorer and I need to start adding more goals to my game.

“I’ve got two so far from four starts so if I can get more than that would be brilliant for me and the club as well.”
