Hereford United travel to Hornchurch this morning for a 3pm FA Cup-Tie.
The game comes at the end of the first week of sales to the public of new Hereford United shares. The club hope that the issue will help the club move forward with new stands as one of the stated projects.
However the current financial situation at Edgar Street remains one of living from day to day. Expenditure still exceeds income and the directors are having to fund the deficit. This can't continue.
It's imperative that the team does the business this afternoon. No doubt a draw would, financially, be the best outcome as then a replay next Tuesday would be an extra pay day.
But winning a replay can't be taken for granted.
And with a Conference fixture at Salisbury next Thursday, manager Martin Foyle told BN he didn't want three games in five days. So he'll be keen to ensure his team are at their best this afternoon.
Good support at Hornchurch will help and it's expected around 200 will make the trip.
Meanwhile as ever there will be coverage of the both on both BBC Hereford and Worcester and Bulls Player.
