Foyle Fed Up With Silly Mistakes

Martin Foyle And Andy Porter Watching The Action
Two silly mistakes gave Nuneaton two goals is how Hereford United manager Martin Foyle summed up last night's game.

"I'm so fed up," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We've had it at Gateshead, Aldershot and we've had it tonight.

"I think everyone can see the endeavour is there.

"But the first goal, Greeny and Bushy have dived in this side, they broke away and Greeny has dived in again on the second one.

"You can't at any level dive and give ourselves a problem and that was their only shot second half. And that's what hurts.

"We've got to be better with the ball and we've certainly got to cut out these mistakes.

"And very very soon because that's four defeats out of five.

"It's not a panic button but we've got to be more disciplined in what we do."

Rhys Evans couldn't hold the shot that preceeded Nuneaton's first goal.

"It's the counter attack, we just sold ourselves. Two players the wrong side of the ball.

"And they followed up with the rebound."

Foyle admitted there were some good patches of play.

"I can't look at the good stuff at the moment, because I've got to look at the negative stuff at the moment because we want points."

Kingsley James
Kingsley James came on at half time for Frankie Artus.

"Another injury.

"But I thought Kings came on and bossed the midfield.

"We've certainly missed him and it's great to have him back."
