Former Bulls striker Adam Stansfield will be remembered on Saturday with a minutes applause.
Stanno will have passed away three years ago to the day that the Bulls face Braintree and, following requests, the club will signal a minutes applause nine minutes into the game to signify the shirt he wore for the Bulls.
He played for Exeter in March 2010, and was diagnosed with bowel cancer just two weeks later. He battled on through Chemotherapy but succumbed on August 10th, 2010. He would have been 35 in September.
The Adam Stansfield Foundation (link) continues good work in his name. Adam's brother Paul and friend Nick Bryant recently completed their second Run for Stanno to raise funds for the Foundation.
During their run, on the A38 between Bristol and Exeter, they wore the shirts of the clubs Adam played for. Donations can still be sent to the Foundation here.
