Forest Green have added to their already comprehensive list of attacking options by handing Matthew Barnes-Homer a two year deal.
The former Macclesfield man, a one time trialist with the Bulls, joins after 18 Conference goals in 37 games with the Silkmen last season.
He is the Gumpers third signing since manager Dave Hockaday announced that his summer transfer dealings were complete more than two months ago, with the club justifying the signing by saying that fellow forward Reece Styche is out until Christmas through injury.
Fans have been claiming on message boards that striker Andy Mangan is on £3,000 a week while Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker, speaking on a local newspaper webchat this lunchtime, said the Gumpers' budget was bigger than the Robins, calling their spending 'mind-blowing'.
