Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he and the players can't wait for the first proper game of the season on Saturday when Braintree are the visitors to Edgar Street.
"Bring it on," said Foyle.
"You can tell by the players body language that pre-season is pre-season, it's hard work but there's light at the end of the tunnel.
"And that's what they are paid for, the League programme.
"Hopefully we can get off to a good start."
