Braintree boss Alan Devonshire has added two new players, and resigned a third, ahead of Saturday's trip to Edgar Street.
Joining the Iron are former Ebbsfleet striker Liam Enver-Marum and Goalkeeper Nick Hamann, while former midfielder Luke Daley has agreed a new deal after initially leaving the club earlier in the summer.
Enver-Marum, 25, netted 11 times for the Fleet as they were relegated last term. Former Chelsea Academy trainee Hamann, 25, has split his time between Ryman side Carshalton and a variety of amateur sides in his native Germany since leaving the Premier League side six years ago.
Winger Daley, 23, scored seven times in 30 games last season after joining from Lincoln, but left the club in search of a full time deal.
