Gumpers Swap Ends To Avoid Away Fans

Forest Green are to move their home terrace to the opposite end of the pitch for the coming season.

They say the move is to stop away fans from being the first to be heard by the players as they emerge from the dressing rooms. The change will see seats removed from the EESI stand to make it a full length terrace, pushing capacity at the New Lawn over the 5,000 required for the Football League.

Away fans will be relocated to the North Stand, which will remain a terrace.
