Worcester are to issue a statement on the club's future after hitting just 20% of their Season Ticket target by Friday's deadline.
A club statement says they sold just 295 of their 1,500 target for their £100 tickets for the coming season at Kidderminster's Aggborough ground by 6pm on Friday. The statement also noted that 30% of purchasers 'had no intention' of actually going to games.
Previously, the club have said that the 1,500 sales target was needed for the club to remain viable during their time away from the city.
