Macclesfield hope to name their new manager soon after beginning the interview process this week. Among those interviewed is caretaker boss John Askey, while the press claim Robbie Fowler also applied for the job. Barnet's Supporters Trust has already started lobbying the local council to get the club back into the area. The Bees will start the new season at their Hive training ground with a ten year temporary licence to use the facility for first team games.
Grimsby have released eight players following their play-off loss. Among them is defender Ian Miller and forward Greg Pearson with only two of the out of contract players being offered new terms. Crawley boss Richie Barker says the club will only be signing free transfers from now on with their wage budget for the coming season slashed. The club remains up for sale with the current owners saying they cannot take the club any further forward.
Former Bulls loanee Lyle Taylor has been voted Player of the Year at Scottish side Falkirk. The former Bournemouth man, 23, netted 28 times in 41 games in his first season north of the border. Tamworth midfielder Lee Hendrie has a warrant out for his arrest over his bankruptcy proceedings. The former England man failed to appear in court as part of the procedure and is now wanted by the Police.
Notts County have offered former Bull Yoann Arquin a new deal. The Frenchman, 25, scored nine times for the club this season. The Magpies are also in discussions with Gavin Mahon over extending his stay.
