Newport Promoted To The Football League

Newport have beaten Wrexham 2-0 in today's Conference Play-off final to win promotion to the Football League.

Goals in the last five minutes from Christian Jolley and Aaron O'Connor settled the game in front of 16,346 at Wembley. The Exiles finished third in the table, five points ahead of the Dragons.
