The following is from York City:
"York City Football Club is pleased
to announce that the club have agreed personal terms with talented Hereford
United forward Ryan Bowman.
Ryan, who was born in Carlisle and
is 21 years old, was Hereford's top scorer last season with 19 goals from 43
appearances including a brace in the Bulls' spectacular 3-1 FA Cup victory over
League 1 side Shrewsbury Town.
Ryan has also played for his home
town club Carlisle United, where he began his professional career, and
Darlington, where he made 40 appearances."
The Minstermen are yet to agree a fee with the Bulls, although talks are understood to be ongoing.
