Stat Attack!

The two players that started the most games took home the Player of the Year trophies. Player's award winner Luke Graham started 42(+1 sub) games, with Fan's award winner Sam Clucas starting 41.

Ryan Bowman top scored with 15 Conference goals from 30(+9) games. Josh O'Keefe netted 12 in 30(+3), with Sam Clucas netting 8, and Marlon Jackson 7 in 12(+13) games.

Twenty different players netted for the Bulls in the Conference this season, with thirty five making a Conference appearance. Shortest appearance total was by Craig Jones (19 minutes) with Tristan Plummer (50 minutes) and Simon Hackney (65 minutes) not far behind.

The Bulls' 73 goals made us the joint fifth highest scorers, ahead of Grimsby, Luton, and Forest Green. 34 of our games had no more than one goal separating the two sides. The average Bulls game saw three goals, with Grimsby bottom with an average of 2.35 and Southport top with 3.43 goals per game.

The Bulls scored in their final 13 games, a feat only bettered by Mansfield's 18, but only failed to score in no more than two successive games.

We collected more points per game (1.58) against team in the bottom half of the table than the top half (1.45) - but we were lower down the overall table against sides in the bottom half than top half as other sides were more prolific against these teams. Mansfield, Kidderminster, Newport, and Wrexham all picked up over 2 points per game against sides in the bottom half.

The Bookies expected the Bulls to finish eighth in the pre-season betting table. Luton were top of their table, with Mansfield second, Wrexham third, and Grimsby and Forest Green rounding out the play-off spots.

Kidderminster were expected to finish 7th, but the biggest shocks from the betting were Dartford and Braintree, who were expected to be 17th and 18th but ended up 8th and 9th.

Biggest disappointments from the pre-season betting were, unsurprisingly, Stockport. Expected to be 10th pre-season they finished 21st. Not far behind were Cambridge, who swapped 8th place for their eventual 14th, and Luton, who ended up 7th.

Mansfield lost 11 games in winning the title, two more than Kidderminster. The Bulls only lost three more games than the Stags, but collected eight more draws.

The Stags' 92 goals made them top scorers, ahead of Newport then Kidderminster. Barrow's 45 goals was the lowest number, and their 83 goals conceded gave them the worst goal difference overall but not the worst defence. That was Ebbsfleet, who conceded 89 times.

Unsurprisingly Telford had the worst home form, winning just twice in 23 games. Ebbsfleet were the worst on the road, thanks partly to broken coaches and an assortment of crashes, with just three wins. Mansfield had the best home form with 17 wins, while Kidderminster edged it on away form with both sides getting 13 wins but the Harriers collecting more draws.
