Horse racing will take over from football as the main talking point at Hereford United's Starlite Rooms on Thursday evening when a pre Cheltenham Festival tipping event is taking place.
Five well known personalities from the racing world will be in attendance to give their views on the runners and riders at the Festival which takes place next week.
On top table will be Tom Lee and Matt Hall of Channel Four and RTE Television, trainers Michael Scudamore, Tom Symonds and Richard Price along with former local auctioneer Terry Court in the chair.
They will discuss the races on all four days with a half-time break for refreshments and a 'race' for all to have a flutter on.
At the end of the evening the speakers will each suggest their 'banker' for the Festival.
Tickets for the event, which cost just £5 each, can be purchased in advance from the reception at Hereford United (08442 76 1939) or on the night.
"It should be a great night for racing enthusiasts," said Hereford United director Nick Nenadich.
The 'meeting' will start at 7.30pm.
