News Round-Up


York have appointed Nigel Worthington as their new manager. The bookies favourite for the job, Worthington is a former Norwich and Northern Ireland manager who spent much of his playing career in Yorkshire with Sheff Weds. Luton are to sign Millwall defender Jake Goodman on loan for the remainder of the season. The 19 year old first year pro is yet to make his senior debut.

Lincoln have released midfielder Gary Mills by mutual consent. The 31 year old picked up a serious knee injury in December and was not expected to play again this season. Cambridge are to sign Kidderminster striker Nathan Blissett on loan for a month. The former Romulus man has started 15 games in the Conference this season, but has been restricted to sub appearances in recent weeks.

Kidderminster have signed Cambridge striker Michael Gash on loan for the rest of the season. The 26 year old has scored 14 goals this term. Luton have appointed Terry Harris as a coach. He arrives from Dagenham, where he was John Still's no.2 and had been on the coaching staff since 1999.
