News Round-Up

Luton have signed full back Scott Griffiths on a deal to the end of the season. The 27 year old played over 200 times for Dagenham under boss John Still before a move to Peterboro, who he left in January by mutual consent after just a handful of games in three years. Barrow have delayed tomorrow's planned game with Macclesfield until Wednesday in order to give their Holker Street pitch time to recover from the weekend snow.

The Evo-Stik League have agreed to extend their season to May 4th due to the sheer number of postponements. Just one fixture survived Saturday's snow and rain. Welsh side Llanelli have been given 28 days to clear their tax debt at a High Court hearing today. The court was told a Director of the club had been in talks with a liquidator over a potential CVA.

Isthmian side Tooting and Mitcham have denied claims that they could only start a recent game with ten men after a string of players refused to pay £10 each to board the club's minibus to the away fixture. An eleventh player turned up just after kick-off due to work commitments, but the side played without any substitutes. Wycombe's High Court date over their unpaid tax bill has been adjoured until May 13th. The move gives them six weeks to complete the sale of their training ground to fund the debt.

Luton's home game with Ebbsfleet tomorrow night has been called off after a Monday afternoon pitch inspection. Grimsby are reported to have returned former Bulls target Richard Brodie to Crawley after a bust-up with management at the club. The former York man was a late sub and missed a shoot-out penalty in their FA Trophy final loss yesterday.
