Hereford United gave away two cheap goals last night which manager Martin Foyle was clearly disappointed with when he spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after the game against Gateshead.
"I thought some of our forward play was outstanding," said Foyle.
"I thought we looked a threat and I thought we deserved to take the lead.
"Then we just switched off straight away and they are straight back in the game.
"All that hard work goes out the window.
"It was just a corner, we haven't picked up at the back stick.
"It's a poor goal at any level."
The Bulls were 2-1 down at half-time.
"Then a great bit of play and a fantastic finish from Marlon.
"Then their third one and it's 3-2.
"Disappointing because we had some good chances. We had some much better free flowing football, some quick free kicks and I was pleased with the majority of the play.
"But we can't give away cheap goals, two of them out of three and that's what's cost us."
Foyle gave Rod McDonald a start in place of Stefan Stam.
"He did nothing at all wrong, I was pleased for him.
"If l don't play him, then I don't see him then it gets to the end of the season and is it a contract?"
35 away fans braved the elements.
"We understand it's a long trip and we appreciate any support, anything vocal. It was very good."
Meanwhile some fans went to talk to Foyle about his tactics and other matters after the game. They weren't very impressed when assistant manager Andy Porter told them to 'piss off'. Not exactly the response they were expecting having travelled long distances to watch the game in freezing conditions.
