Cambridge United manager Richard Money has questioned whether the first penalty awarded to Hereford in yesterday's game should have been given.
“I thought there was a push for the first penalty, and I’m not
saying he didn’t handle it because he obviously did, but I don’t think
he could have avoided it," Money told the press afterwards.
“The referee said at
half-time that he knew he’d made a mistake; well, there were two or
three occasions in the second half when he could have evened it up but
he didn’t.
“I’m not going to use that as an excuse, but it is the reality that as the home team it absolutely kills you."
