Foyle In the Dug-Out This Evening |
In his post match interview Hereford United manager Martin Foyle felt his side should have taken a point from this evening's game against Wrexham.
"You look at the second half and they haven't had a shot," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"I'm frustrated here, really really frustrated.
"I want to play some quality and play with a tempo.
"The effort is there but the goal we have given away, it's silly free kick by Marley on the edge of the box which gave them a life-line.
"You can't tell me they were better than us but they've got experience.
"We've got to be more positive.
"There were some good chances, their keeper has made a couple of good saves over the bar.
"Overall to me that was a draw."
Foyle feels the current state of the Edgar Street pitch isn't helping his squad.
"For some reason it's not clicking here, I've just said that on Saturday we're going to have to grind another ugly game of football.
"It's not attractive to watch, I hate watching it to be honest.
"I can't keep making excuses for this place. I haven't even got a training ground. I'm training on mud, playing on mud.
"From a manager's point of view the training facilities are next to nothing which is not working.
"I need some decent conditions but that comes at a cost.
"I totally understand the club's situation at the moment but I've only used the training ground five times this year. That's a big worry."
There was another disappointing gate this evening.
"The home record hasn't been brilliant but they (supporters) want to see some football."
