Lincoln have axed manager David Holdsworth in the wake of their loss to the Bulls yesterday.
The former Mansfield boss had presided over a run that saw the Imps earn just six points from the last 30, sliding down to 18th in the table and just five points clear of danger. Many of their relegation rivals have also played fewer games.
Holdsworth and his management team were involved in angry post-match exchanges with the Bulls' backroom staff, prompting one Lincoln director to rebuke them in the tunnel shortly afterwards.
