450 Take Up Pegasus Offer

450 people are reported to have signed up for "Pegasus Day", taking advantage of cheap admission for Saturday's game with Lincoln.

BlueSq Football reports Bulls' chairman David Keyte as saying: "From a Hereford point of view we're delighted to have seen a higher attendance, with the numbers suggesting that it was largely people who might not normally visit Edgar Street coming along.

"Hopefully they enjoyed a cracker of a game that saw an own goal, penalty, a sending off, five goals, and importantly a Hereford win! It shows great value for money and we'd be delighted to see them come back for our next home game.

"It's a brilliant example of how all the local teams in the Herefordshire area can pull together and help each other out for the benefit of local football."

Pegasus director Alan Savory added: "The event in High Town went very well and we issued a good number of vouchers for the game. There was also a healthy take up from players and parents of Pegasus to go to the game.

"The feedback l have received from the managers and parents of Pegasus Juniors was that the game was thoroughly enjoyed, we are sure many of those in attendance will visit Edgar Street again."

Pegasus have moved up to third place in the poll to win a £100,000 grant, with 14% of the total vote. Voting continues to the end of the month.
