The Bulls travel to Cumbria to take on Barrow AFC in a televised Conference match on Friday night.
The two sides meet for the first time since their first ever encounter in the Conference in the 98/99 season. The Bulls won both the games that season without conceding a goal. Garry Cook scored in both matches and current physio Ian Rodgerson also featured in the 1-0 win at Holker Street before sitting out the 3-0 victory at Edgar Street.
Barrow boss Dave Bayliss has blasted fans hiding behind computers and mobile phones for criticising his team. After a late equaliser in their game with Telford on Tuesday kept them off the foot of the table, Bayliss told the BBC he intended to make changes to his full time squad in January. Midfielder Richie Baker and striker Adam Boyes are their top scorers with seven goals apiece, but the Bluebirds are currently six Conference games without a win.
Bulls boss Martin Foyle says he will not rest players ahead of Tuesday's FA Cup replay, though he probably has little option with so few fit bodies. Friday may see a reappearance of Michael Townsend, after three months out, while Marley Watkins is hoped to be somewhere close to fitness after two months on the sidelines. The Bulls have lost only one of the last 10 matches in the last two months, while Harry Pell will probably want to get in on the goal action with fellow midfielders Will Evans and Josh O'Keefe both scoring twice in recent games.
Barrow AFC vs Hereford United, Holker Street, Friday 7th December, 7.45pm.
