Just one spectator was arrested at the game between Cheltenham Town and Hereford United last night
The 23 year old was
arrested after running onto the pitch. He was given a formal warning
under the Football Offences Act of 1991
Later Gloucestershire Police released the following statement:
"There was a big crowd at yesterday's game but we're pleased to report that both sets of fans interacted well with each other, our officers and Whaddon Road staff.
"Other than the one arrest there were no other incidents at the match that required police action.
"We'd like to thank both Hereford and Cheltenham supporters for helping us give them a safe and respectful environment to enjoy the match."
